The bragging rights come back to the FDNY baseball team after beating the NYPD 5-4 in a hard fought 5-4 victory at Brooklyn Cyclones MCU Park on July 30. The crowd was the best the game has ever seen and there was plenty of action throughout. The game went into extra innings for the second time in the game's history as it ended in the thirteenth inning. Danny Quinn went 4-6 and Joe Lankford pitched the final 5 innings from the ninth until the thirteenth all scoreless.
